I am a fourth generation Floridian, born and raised in Brandon, a suburb outside of Tampa Bay. I received my Bachelor of Science in History from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. I earned my Master of Arts in History from University of South Florida in Tampa.
Shortly after graduating, I began working at the Florida Humanities Council. As a coordinator for our education programs, I work with teachers to bring Florida’s history and culture into classroom across the state. Because of restrictions on field trip funds and time, however, it is increasingly important to deliver high quality content in a digital form.
