I am the Neil R. Euliano Professor of Languages and Literatures at the University of Central Florida. I came to UCF from Loyola University Chicago where I was Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Director and Academic Dean of Loyola’s Campus in Rome, Italy from 1989 to 1992. I have published on Italian American literature, and on the Renaissance and 20th century Italian literature. I co-founded the journal Voices in Italian Americana, and other book series, and served as Associate Editor of Italica, the publication of the American Association of Teachers of Italian.
